like being at boarding school has completely disassociated me from normal american teenage culture.... like i’m not just talking about being around CEO parents who are overly friendly and hug you and ask constant questions but also like living with ppl from mexico who kiss you on the cheek when they see you and the chinese students who cook ACTUAL chinese food in the dorm or the korean kids who shout across campus @ eachother and my friend from saudi who tells me stories about her dad sneaking alcohol over the boarder like idk i just feel very fortunate to be immersed in all these cultures and lifestyles
