i’m inclined to believe they’re just playing dumb, tbh. they had to know that just by writing multiple scenes with them, people were going to glom onto that relationship.

it's the only logical explanation. maybe so they will seem unpredictable? it gives them more leverage that way. i'm hoping by the end of the season we get some type of kiss or element that develops a more deeper connection. and i'm praying they get a second season because if not this season for sure by next season. they know what the fans want and it's obvious they should just stick with book canon ideas so... why the hell not!?

at wondercon they were like “wow we didn’t know they would have a reaction like this!” like, you know your show is based on a book right? that one where they were making out in the woods after a few days?

it makes me wonder if they're just really stupid or they just don't know anything about fans. and i don't think it's because they're stupid or this show would not be as amazing as it is. obviously ships like bellamy and clarke always show more appeal. plus they do have the whole being canon thing in the books on their side. i shipped them in the books so my instinct was to ship them in the show too. AND BELLAMY/BOB IS SO HOT.

i think they're just trying to throw us off. i mean why did bellamy get that look on his face when he had to touch clarke to train her with the gun. and why did he look like he was going to kiss her when they were up against that tree. it has to be something more behind it and not just a friendship or leadership bond.

i just looked it up and it sounds like they don’t have them anymore? rights about things are confusing public domain is so much easier

yep it's all very confusing. it'll be in the public domain in 20 years do you think they can hold out until then ?

yes yes I know, but I think disney only sort of has rights to it. because cs lewis hated the thought of adaptations and I think his nephew let them make the movies but idk how expansive was their deal ? do they have blanket rights or just rights for that one thing ?? idk if it was options or rights and I'm too lazy to figure it out and there were issues with who had what and time frames and expiry and shit and they are making another one but idk what company actually has the rights to make it and idk idk,

ANYWAY I AM HOPING THEY HAVE THE RIGHTS TO DO IT AND DO IT AND DO IT GOOD AND PROPER

yeah from my understanding quicksilver and scarlet witch can be /in/ the avengers but never actually referred to as mutants bc that strays into x-men territory

that makes me sad that means storm and thor will never meet on screen and that is pretty much all i've ever rly wanted #thororo
