Hello flash fans! It’s finally time to to make an application post like I said I would. I just want to take a moment and say thanks for the support you show flashsource everyday because without all of you we would not have 3.5k followers. It’s truly a miracle that the numbers only continue to grow, which is saying something because I haven’t posted any original content in awhile. Not only that, but there are only a few reblogs. Of course, this leaves me feeling happy, but also extremely guilty.

Recently, I’ve had medical issues come up that has delayed my ability to post regularly and I want things to change because you’re not following this blog for it to go inactive. This brings into play the need for new members. Now here is what I’m looking for:

Quality gif and edit makers. You are required to be able to do both. Your application will way more heavily based on your gif skills.

Someone who can update regularly. This includes reblogs! I want the content on this blog to mainly be our own, but I don’t want it to be limited to just our own material. I’m looking for you to post at least 3-5 gifsets a week and at least 2 edit type posts a week.

Someone who can most likely make post during the nights when The Flash airs. Or at least the following day.

You’ll need to be able to keep up with the news and updates that might be provided by the internet. This may not seem as important, but trust me it is.

The most important thing I’ll stress is quality of character. THIS IS THE THING I’LL LOOK FOR FIRST. I’m not kidding when I say I will go through every page of your blog because I will. I can’t stand those who hate, are judgmental, and hypocritical. I want members who care about the whole show. You may not like a character or ship, and that’s fine, but I will not tolerate someone who likes to spread hate on this blog because I’ll remove you immediately.

Following the last bullet if you’re added it’s going to be expected of you to make posts about all characters and ships regardless of who or what you like.

Also please tag things appropriately. I’ll go over all that once we add some people.

Those are just a few simple guidelines. If you can’t handle that than please don’t bother to apply. And if you can’t be active I really want you to be honest in your application. Quality trumps quantity. I get there are factors outside of tumblr and I’m not going to be a hard ass when even I might not do what is being asked of you. Right now I’m only looking for about 2-3 people. If I get a good number of applications I like I might add more. On to the fun part… the application.

When you fill everything out just submit it here. I’m not sure how long the application will be open. As of right now it’s going to be open until November 28th, 2014. I might start accepting in between now and then so send in your applications ASAP. And if the amount of time is not long enough please let me know. I don’t think I’m leaving anything out, but I’ll let you know. Anyway, thanks so much for being a great fandom and I can’t wait to get some applicants!
