Liking him

Sophomore year was the year where I realized I had feelings for him. We had a class together, but my best friend wasn't there. He had a friend of his in the same class and they both loved to tease me. At the time I thought his friend was attractive and I voiced this to him. He gaved me alot of advice and was there to listen to all my insecurities. At the moment in which he texted me every minute of everyday. There was a good morning text and a sweet dreams text. It made me realize how amazing he was and how my heart would skip a beat and I would get butterflies in my stomach just by the mention of his name. In which I realized that I liked him. Not his friend but him. That's when I realized my world would crash and burn. Because my best friend was still in love with him. And there was nothing I could do about it.

The moment I saw her sitting in my place, I knew I was done. I knew I was being replaced and the truth is, although I saw it coming, in no way was I prepared for it.
