Fact:

Jay had really bad issues with loud noises when she was little. It would force her to stretch her wings so far that it would hurt them just to cover her ears. Tim invested into a pair of reptilian headphones that block out noise, and it stopped pretty quickly. She just slips them on her head when things get too loud, and she focuses on what she was doing before.
