When you eat a devil fruit, you gain the powers of the sea devil, and the ocean turns its back on you
But what if you'd never consumed the flesh of such a fruit but carried a devil's spirit all the same?
The ocean may still dislike you, but it can't exactly blame you either, can it?
A story about Sanji, the consequences of Vinsmoke Judge's meddling, and fire.
A character study about a one piece theory I like that got wildly out of hand! Chapters posted weekly-ish!
I've been thinking, why isn't anyone in Teyvat able to recognise the Unknown God? I'm not talking about NPCs or Adepti and whatnot I'm talking about the Archons and Yae.
Because if i remember correctly, Zhongli mentions about heavenly principles in his second story quest, which indicates that he's aware of the Unknown Gods existence. So unless the traveler purposefully omits that part or the Archons are not allowed to talk about it, which is what Zhongli eventually says.
And I don't blame Yae for not knowing, because I don't think she'd be the kind of person to care about Celestia and their gods. Plus, she's not an archon.
But Venti... I don't know. He either knows or he doesn't. Or the traveler omits certain parts of his story. Surely if all the archons were there during Khaenri'ah's fall, they would know who the keeper of heavenly principles was since she was obviously there too according to Zhongli's quest. We still don't know for sure why Khaenri'ah fell, though. (I feel like Fontaine will reveal a lot more answers about Khaenri'ah than Sumeru but we'll see.)
This is also part of why I think the theory of "too much knowledge about Teyvat will end up in your nonexistence" is probable. And also explains why the archons (Venti specifically) are hesitant to reveal what they know.
Sidenote: ngl I'm still kinda bitter at Zhongli for not being able to break his contract, but anything for the plot to progress ig. The fact still stands that Liyue is my favourite region so far and I can't be mad for too long at this old man.
@askaualexmercer 🥰 *drums not piano tho
