Shepherd Book, an amigurumi doll inspired by Book from FIrefly/Serenity As many loyal fans of the shop know I have been working my way through making the entire crew of Serenity for the past few years. Shepherd Book came about because I was approached by the good folks of Cant Stop The Serenity, Pennsylvania to make a doll for their yearly Charity auction which I have been honored to have been a contributor to for a few years now. They requested Shepherd Book and I was very excited to make him. Book stands about 10 inches tall. His hair is made from 2 types of yearn to give the impression that its about to burst out of its bun :) His arms move and he should stand on his own if you take a minute to balance him. Book is made bespoke just for you and that work takes about a week. Of course that depends on how many other orders I have at that time. I will give you an estimate when you place your order. If you need him on time for an occasion just let me know when you order and I will do my best to get him to you on time.
