Pairing: Felix and Lucas (lilyoffandoms detective)

Summary: Slightly inspired by this fic of theirs.
Lucas had not been expecting for everything to change so dramatically when Felix entered his life.
And while he knew that on the inside there was a definite change, he was surprised by all of the outward changes as well, and one place that would be was his apartment.
The normal stark appearance of it all was disappeared now, it now full of flashes of color that he would have never added in it otherwise, but it felt safe. Comforting.
Like home.
If he had to describe what it was like meeting Felix was like, he would say that it was like seeing color for the first time, brightening his life for the first time in a way that he never knew he was lacking before.
And I would never dream of it being any different.
Lucas had spent so long alone, not even realizing that he had even felt that way until a certain amber-eyed vampire walked into his life, upsetting the routine that he had grown accustomed to, but he hardly cared.
And I definitely don’t feel that way now.
He ran his hand through his auburn hair as he stared at the picture of him and Felix from the carnival, and he could not help the smile that formed across his face at the sight of it, capturing both of their grins to memory.
It truly was an amazing night, even with what happened afterward.
“Hey babe!”, Felix suddenly called out from the next room, and he went to go stand next to him, a grin of his own forming on his face at the sight of the photo, “We look pretty good, there, don’t we?”
Lucas gave a chuckle, “I’d say that we do”
His eyebrow raised mischievously in response, and he stepped on his tiptoes, reaching up to try and reach his eyelevel, and he whispered, “What happens if I do this?”
“I suppose that depends on what you plan to do”, he smirked in return, inviting the challenge with open arms.
Felix moved closer to gently cover his lips with his, almost hesitant at first, but it was not for long, and he melted into it fervently, as it he could not get enough, as if it would disappear tomorrow.
But I hope it never does.
“I’d say I quite like this”, he muttered against the side of his face as they broke off the kiss “Very good plan”
He laughed, which made his amber eyes seem brighter than they already were, “Then it seems like I was successful”
“Are you trying to make me fall for you all over again?”, Lucas asked, smiling so wide that it made the sides of his face hurt, but he hardly cared.
“It’s a bonus if I do”, he replied, “Watch me”
Felix pulled Lucas down to his lips this time, and he allowed the unmatched bliss run through him at this moment.
I offer you a second drawing since I don't like how Cian came out in the first. So I chose your Alpha MC. I don't know a lot about them so I though it'd be fun to give drawing them a try!I hope you like this!

6. If your detective heard Sanja’s prophecy for F, how would they feel about it?
Thea would be a little freaked out about it. She would wonder if she should believe it face value, knowing prophecies in general can be tricky to decipher. But let’s go through it, shall we? At the beginning, with the "You need someone to choose you," the teller continues. "And you want that person to be her” Like, if she heard that then? Like, Thea knowing that is something that he wants, and is not just guessing that he does? She would feel intense relief over that, and while I do think she would want to mention it earlier, she’ll probably talk herself out of it before she can fully say anything. But it would be enough to make her smile all the brighter for weeks to come. And then the whole “Your fates are entangled. Happiness and love will be the ties that create a bond so strong that even the waves of time will not drown it."? Just, say less? Thea is so scared that this will all disappear tomorrow without a trace of it, so knowing that this bond that has formed between them is as strong as if is, will give her hope. And of course, if this was all that was said, it could end quite happily, but of course, there is that foreboding warning at the end. “One day, that need may trap you. When the coming darkness arrives, you may both have to choose between your heart and what you value beyond all things to keep each other near." This would silently crush Thea, making that fear come back that she could loose everything. It also seems like it might break the both of them, and she would wonder what did Felix value beyond all things? ( I do have a theory about what this is, but I won’t write it here) Now, she would totally understand that after hearing something like that, Felix did not want to pursue anything else with her, but as long as she kept being himself, she would let it happen anyway. Prophecies can be confusing to begin with, and it’s not worth letting it change all of the good things that were happening between them in the first place. But, if she did hear it, I do think it would constantly be something in the back of her mind. And if this “darkness” came, quite literally, Thea would be willing to do anything to keep him close, even if that means breaking herself in the process. The world is not going to give her the best thing that has ever happened to her and take that away. She won’t allow it.
10/11 If on the Bobby route, did your detective and Bobby kiss? Unwanted or Wanted? How is your detective dealing with this? And how do you think F will react once they find out?/ 11. If on the Douglas route, what is your detective’s feelings on this? And how do you think F feels about this?
Okay, I know you said 10, but Thea is on Douglas’s route, so I included 11 as well. But I do talk quite at length about Bobby in this answer, so there is that at least.
Thea is on the Douglas route, but this was more out of me trying to protect her from the mess that is Bobby. One thing that you should know about Thea is that she sees the absolute best in people, always. (And yes, unfortunately for her, that also includes Bobby) They were friends, but that is more that Thea is just friendly with everyone. I do think, when the betrayal happened, they were really not overly close, but he asked for her help, so she gave it without a second thought. (I do think that Bobby did imply that he wanted to be more then friends, but she turned that down) She was deeply hurt by it, and she struggled with it for a long time, trying to figure out where exactly this went wrong, thinking that if she had been a better friend, this would have never happened. But, even still, if Bobby came to her now, she would still think that he was being genuine, and I know that she would have let him in to her apartment that night. And when Bobby kissed her, she would be too shocked to move, not melting into it, but it would freak her out. Guilt would overtake her, with the “Why didn’t you move? Why didn’t you push him away? This is your fault” It would absolutely destroy her, and she would blame herself for the whole thing. And she would want to tell Felix what happened, but she would be scared of him leaving for good if she did, and so she would live in fear of the inevitable time that Bobby will throw it back into her face and she would lose all what she is becoming sure is the best thing that ever happened to her.
But enough about Bobby, let’s move on to Douglas. Thea doesn’t drink, which is the one reason why I’m still hesitate going out to the bar in the first place (Hating that kind of scene, and feeling very guilty when the others come to find her) But, she did want to see how people were feeling at the bar, so she went with Tina anyway. Now, she is not as okay with Douglas having some sort of weird crush on her, and him showing up to her apartment dressed like Felix. But, she sees his rough relationship with his father, and she does want to help with that in any way that she can. He seems like a person who needs help, and to Thea, she won’t be able to ignore it. She is going to try and help him in any way she can, and she’ll probably attempt (and fail) to stop this crush, never really knowing how to put it. (She worries about him, since when she told him it was different when he showed up at her apartment, and the fact that he did so to get her attention really affected her. Thea does not want anyone to change who they are because of someone else, a situation she’s found herself in several times before the events of Book 1) But she did let him in her apartment, so we’ll see how that goes. (Those Douglas hardens stat in the code has me very intrigued) Now, as far as Felix’s reactions goes? He’d probably clown Douglas, and to be honest? I can’t wait. :)
