Hello there! I don’t think we’ve ever talked before, but I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely adore your blog and your art! I remember first seeing your Hiccstrid piece with Hiccup atop an exasperated Toothless and thinking about how immensely talented you must be - and I was definitely proved right. Checked out @lillyre‘s blog again out today, and I just can’t get over this style! It’s so inspiring, so I let myself try out their lineart and coloring style as much as I could (even if my style still slipped in here and there).

Lilly’s coloring scheme is so dark. I was so surprised when I picked the colors! They all somehow added up in the end. (As you may know, I practically only draw with bright and light colors). I used this lovely comic as a reference.

This was fun for me, and I hope it will be for you too! Enjoy <3
