Filtering Tags: A Guide

i noticed a lot of kiddos reblogging sfw posts from nsfw sources so i decided to make a post about filtering tags

What is it?

filtering tags is a way to hide posts containing content you don't want to see

How does it work?

you add a tag to the filter (settings > account settings > filtering > +new) and tumblr marks any posts with that tag as "containing filtered tags"

that way you can tell the source of the post isn't safe without having to check the blog itself

now please note that this system isn't foolproof since blogs can simply not tag their posts but it's still very useful and i highly recommend using it

What tags should I filter?

here's a google doc of all the tags i have filtered as well as a condensed list in case you don't want to filter almost 400 tags ( ^o^*)

Hi y’all! Would anyone be interested in buying a sensory bottle? Someone I know recently made her own craft store! And I’m trying to support her in any way I can! (They are $10 each +shipping)

Sensory bottles help anxiety, panic attacks, sensory needs, overwhelming emotions, etc. They are very good at calming you down and are kid/little safe!

Caregivers: sensory bottles can also be used as a great timer for time-outs. The sensory bottle is shaken and the little has to sit there and watch the glitter. (While it calms them down) When it settles they can get up again.

***She does not know about me being a little or anything to do with the little/caregiver community buuuuutttt…..I thought these would be great for other littles!*** I have two and I love them!!!!

You can ask to put anything in the bottle and I’m sure she will do it. Like princess, fish, space, etc themes!!

1. Use A Humidifier

using a humidifier will help with sore thrusts and congestion. plus there are bunches of cute humidifiers!

2. Get Sore Throat Lollipops

medicine disguised as candy is the perfect way to get little ones to take medicine especially if they feel bratty or grumpy!

3. Scented Stuffies

scented stuffies that can be warmed up or frozen are really good to have! when warm they help soreness but cold ones will help fevers

4. Use a Temperature Paci

Grumpy or bratty little ones may not want to use a regular thermometer so using a paci one may be easier

5. Baby Vicks

baby vicks works like regular vicks but the scent is not as strong. its perfect for little ones with sensory issues

6. Pedialyte Popsicles

having a little one refuse to drink anything can be solved with this frozen treat! it'll help hydrate and keep them cooled down
