This might sound weird or whiny but: Normalize liking all kinds of moths (this rant mainly is about moths because I love moths but this is applicable to all bugs honestly), not just the “pretty and acceptable ones” like rosy maple moths (although those are good too), like, even the “creepy” or “trashy” ones, I love clothes moths, I love tentacle moths, I love carpet moths, I love all the trashy and ugly and pesky moths not just the cute ones, not just the colorful flashy moths, I love those too but that’s not all I mean when I say I’m a moth enthusiast, I love all moths, they’re all amazing to me. Even mothkins, if you’re moth-adjacent you’re amazing to me and you’re welcome here, even if you’re just a moth enthusiast like me. I love you all(/p), moth family. (By the way, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with liking the bright and fluffy and cute moths, I love those too, I just don’t like when people act like those are the only moths that deserve appreciation) /p /nm /pos
