Kassy: thought I’d share a little bit more on my “new” Lily.

I’m so happy with how she came together, aside from the eyes being the wrong color. The freckles!😍

Here’s also my favorite video that I made. It’s a Doctor Strange audio, but I found it perfect for a conversation I imagined Lily would have with Severus once she found out he was hanging around with death eaters.

Girl Talk

It’s summer of 1975. Marlene is staying at Lily’s family home.

Lily: There’s no use in trying to be nice to her.

Lily: And Dorcas is so friendly, she would take it up as a challenge to make Tuney like her...

Marlene: Merlin, if you cry, I’ll have to put toad’s eyes in her shampoo for upsetting you.

*Marlene grabs a hair brush and motions for Lily to turn around*

Lily; In fact, I can’t see what makes them friends with Potter and Black in the first place.

Marlene: Sirius even takes notes for him when he’s ill.

Lily: They take care of each other, but you can’t deny they can be bullies.

Lily: *not everything...*

Lily: He’s been a very good friend to me since before Hogwarts.

Suddenly, a female’s scream can be heard from the bathroom.

Flowers. Flowers would just appear. I used to give them to Mum.

What’s in Your Bag: Modern Lily Evans

Lily: So, for some reason, James really wanted me to show you what was in my bag? I’m not sure what’s all interesting about it, but I’m done all my homework, so why not? Right now, I’m carrying my Beauty and the Beast purse. It has an extension charm on it. Which definitely comes in handy on days like today...

Lily: I’m not always wearing it. Really only during my rounds.

Lily: What kind of witch would I be if I didn't have my wand with me at all times?!

Lily: For a boy that can’t see without them, I sure seem to find them laying around a lot. 

Lily: The hallways can be bloody loud in between classes. And sometimes it’s the only way to avoid a certain Slytherin...

Lily: Other students think I’m odd for not keeping it in a case. Little do they know that I have a protection charm on it.

Lily: aside from the boys, Marlene and Dorcas. So I tend to keep it in my bag during classes.

Lily: then continues to carry on about his hair being in his face.

Lily: So, of course it’s Lily to the rescue. Those boys would lose their heads if they weren't attached.

Lily: it’s so hard to find a good red that James won't complain about getting all over him!

Lily: Because it is bloody impossible to walk about and write when you’re trying to use a quill and ink well, for Merlin’s sake!

Lily: ...because... well... he gets uhm... headaches! Yep! And it helps him manage them a little bit better. Keeps him in his right mind...

Lily: Because unless he’s curled up on the couch in the Common Room, I very rarely know where he is. I like to have something for him when we do cross paths on the grounds.

Lily: I mean, personally I can't imagine why you started dating him in the first place.

Marlene: Besides, it’s not like it was anything more than just sneaking off to snog.

Lily: They think he’s got it pretty bad for Lupin.

Marlene: So what if he does, anyway? Did... did Dorcas... or... did they have a problem with it?

Lily: It was just an observation... that’s all.

Lily: I can name about twenty problems off the top of my head that I’ve got with Black.

Lily: I would never hold that against someone.
