Huaca Pucllana by Anita363 From a pre-Incan coastal civilization, 200–700 CE. This site is typically referred to as a pyramid, but that's a misnomer. It's really a ceremonial platform the size of a town, built of adobe bricks stood on end. The whole mound you see here, stretching way out into the distance, is artificial. https://flic.kr/p/29e2unJ
