Space nudibranchs in my braaain~ So, the Limako are really into both augmentation and creative endeavors, so naturally there's gonna be some overlap. One of 'em read that one Hylotl codex where the author complains that two-eyed species don't see detail like Hylotl do, and went "I can fix that." Letheia realizes there's a market for such tech, and doesn't take kindly to being undercut like that.

So I have a Starbound species mod that I've been chipping away at when my brain refuses to do more important things. It's playable and published, but far from complete. I felt the need to give it a kick-butt thumbnail to make it stand out among other species mods. The only way to change a mod's thumbnail in the Steam Workshop, though, is to update the whole thing, and I don't want to push an empty update just for the thumbnail. So this has motivated me to work on the mod even more instead of my original project. Gotta love brainrot.

Hi hi hello!! BIG fan of the Limako mod here, just found your blog on tumblr! Are you alright with people making proper Limako ocs? Crediting you for the species, of course, but!! The lore and concepts are simply so compelling and the designs are *lovely*, and it sparks such a creative flow!

Go for it! I've still got a lot of said lore to flesh out, but I'm glad you enjoy what I've got so far! One lil note: Limako have a plume of gills about where a tail would be, much like IRL nudibranchs! I just haven't put that in the sprite yet (the way SB's animations are structured doesn't help, lol).
