NV Lime Leaf Vino Blanco - Cheap if you join a wine club

This hot-weather white is a hit with commercial wine clubs, including Laithwaites, Virgin Wine Club, Zagat, & Wall Street Journal Wines. I've been a member of all four at a certain point. Lime Leaf is an inexpensive summer white made from Spain's Verdejo grape, and it is  definitely a picnic wine with tart, overt notes of lemon, lime, and acidic fruit. The balance is good, and if you're into Sauvignon Blanc, it's worth a try.  

The Wino Wordle hits it major characteristic on the head: more than any specific fruit - including limes or leaves - the overwhelming flavor is "citrus."  It is "refreshing," and it is definitely a "summery" wine great for "warm-weather."  Ignore the "peaches" and "pears" - this stuff is tart n' tangy, and you wont get that that rich sweetness from desert fruit. Also ignore the "black pepper."  That person must have spilled something in their glass.
