this man is literally always tired so it’s a very fitting song lol. this made me think of angst tho, post relationship, hotch has no one (aka thinks he has no one cuz the man is a little dense when it comes to that). but, the reader was who he could open up to, the only one he could really bare himself to and he’s lost that in a sense. on a particularly hard night he wants to call reader and just unload but feels like he can’t, thinks that they’ll just be upset at him for it. because i’m a hopeless romantic in my mind reader would love for him to call because maybe there’s something they can salvage there but they’re both too dumb to call the other and hammer things out.
