TW: Rape I watched Lovelace last night. Holy shit. I had no idea Deep Throat, the porn movie that started the golden age of porn and sexual revolution, is literally a woman getting raped. Linda Susan Boreman/Linda Lovelace was a victim of abuse, sexual assault, rape, violence and was forced to make that movie by her husband, then forced into prostitution and many other things. She made virtually no money from the movies she was forced to make. This is why I question the porn industry and everything I see and hear about sexual violence. I cannot believe such a famous movie has a truth still so profoundly hidden.
