I think Bilbo would return to the Shire after the adventure, as, especially with him and Thorim not being in a relationship, I can't see him leaving his home so permanently. Cue him and Thorin keeping in touch with letters. Thorin is terrible at writing letters, and therefore sends him jewels

Thorin sends him masses of jewels, which bilbo has no idea what to do with and ends up with his house full of gold with like diamonds used as paperweights. The hobbits are so suspicious. Thorin keeps making excuses to travel to the Shire, and their are masses of awkwardness and misunderstandings and eventual adorableness, maybe.haha, well that’s some of my take on the pairing! What are some head cannons of yours? They are such a great pairing, there’s so many shippy moments in the movies!

Thorin. It’s definitely Thorin. The guy went from being royalty who had servants to pick up his shit to having no extra clothes TO throw down or even a floor to throw things on to at times. Even when they settled elsewhere he just had a few things of clothes that he washed regularly until they fell apart. He’s never had to keep track of shit like that in his life and at first Bilbo is SO ANNOYED. BC THORIN. THORIN THEY WILL WRINKLE THORIN. CLOTHES ARE NOT A THING THAT GOES ON THE FLOOR THORIN. But he eventually learns that this is a Thornism and just rolls with it.forgets to run the dish washer

Fine we’ll pretend there are cars but once again it doESNT MATTER??drives when they’re going somewhereNo in this case I’ll go with carts and I’ll say it’s Thorin because sure Bilbo loves his ponies and got….decent…at riding, he’s still so godawful at directing the ponies. Every time Bilbo gets on an animal he can manage it but he is frowning so intently like he is in a battle of wills with this strange and frustrating thing that he needs to gO LEFT CONFOUND YOU.rearranges the furnitureThorin, who likes to drag things closer to the fire or shift things around based on whims. It throws Bilbo off every time because Bilbo may be a bit clutter-prone but furniture stays in place and anchors the room damnit.falls asleep with the TV on

Bilbo does the equivalent of falling asleep on piles of books and notes all the time. He ends up with ink smudges all over his face and damn if it is not one of the most heart wrenchingly precious things Thorin has ever seen

(This isn’t saying much, as Thorin is a stupidly smitten thing who thinks that every single dumb thing Bilbo does is the Pinnacle of all things Good and Warm and Adorably Wonderful and if he isn’t those things then it’s because Bilbo is being The Reckless Little Shit Bane of His Goddamn Life.)gets to use the bathroom first

Thorin, mainly because Thorin gets up suuuper early just from sheer habit sunk in by years of exile and wandering. He like’s his early mornings anyway where he can sit in quiet and listen to the sounds of the mountain and watch Bilbo sleep.decides the temperature for the ac/heaterThorin doesn’t really notice temperature but Bilbo is a little mild-weathered creature who likes everything warm and toasty because sure, he knows he CAN deal with the cold but he sure as all hell isn’t if he doesn’t HAVE to.sets up holiday decorationsBilbo may be a terrible Hobbit but he is still a HOBBIT and has a completely different set of decorations for each season and holiday. Thorin doesn’t understand but still, it’s Thorin, and he secretly is super charmed just by watching Bilbo fuss over their home.leaves the lights on

Bilbo when he’s caught up writing or reading something and ended up passing out somewhere random with several books scattered around him.uses the bathroom with the door openThorin has no sense of shame in most aspects of his life and this fact is a constant source of flustered confusion for Bilbo because THORIN WHAT IF SOMEONE ELSE BESIDES ME HAD WALKED IN.Thorin just kind of blinks at him because he doesn’t even understand why this is a problem at all and marks this off as a strange Bilbo thing.fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber)Are you kidding this is a Dwarf kingdom. The plumbing is perfectly and efficiently designed and probably centuries ahead of anything else (The elves will never outright admit this of course). If there is anyone working on the plumbing it’s because Thorin has thought of a way to make something work BETTER.

Jack can always be found just by following the trail of clothes and other sundry debris left in his wake. Sometimes you have no idea where this stuff comes from or why or how it got dropped on the floor. Why does Jack need a compass? Why does Jack HAVE a compass? WhERE did he get it? The great mysteries of Pitch's life.forgets to run the dish washer

Honestly neither of them use it. Jack doesn't seem to realize that dishes are a thing that you can use and just wanders around with handfulls of food or slathers a bunch of random stuff onto bread and calls it a job well done. Pitch is a collection of entities of pure fear amassed in one form and consciousness and is beyond any need of sustenance other than the conceptual terror lurking in every human mind.

Jack doesnt seem to realize that furniture is supposed to have a set arrangement. Woke up with the ridiculous image of reverse corruption. As in, Jack 'corrupts' Pitch with his Fun, and the consequences are just WEIRD. We're talking bad jokes and harmless, but dumb pranks (because Pitch has never tried it before)
