Linde Colombia undertakes major hospital project
The Hospital Care Division at Linde Colombia is working with the prestigious Safdie Architects firm to help with the design and construction of a major hospital in the north side of the country.
Serena del Mar is one of the most ambitious projects for Linde Colombia’s Hospital Care division, which will be working directly with architect Moshe Safdie's prestigious Safdie Architects, which is renowned worldwide. Linde will design the medical gases system for the hospital.
The development, located eight km from the city of Cartagena, will include a mall and recreational and social area as well as a 400-bed hospital. The hospital project will enhance the effectiveness of the health service sector in Cartagena. The hospital will be managed by the renowned Santa Fe Foundation, one of the main customers of Linde.
Now in the design phase, the project is being undertaken by Qi Services division team members Carlos Larrahondo, Mayra Rosas, Luis Cortes, Pablo Bejarano and Jorge Arevalo. They are working in a high-tech 3D program that enables them to precisely locate piping and power equipment while also rendering details such as each coupling, each elbow and other required supports.
