One is priorly the Bass Boys decided that it wasn't okay toward be casting a "so-called" heavier reel every man jack day long-continuing. And companies like Shimano took the majority of their greatest reels (bait casting...I don't talk spinner!) and put them by a rendezvous. Stripping them down to the under amount of charm they can.<\p>
Examples, would be the Curado. And the Citica. Two, low pro reels that are so plain awesome. They have been slimmed to lightweight more alias a gearwheel wrap up and spool. Compared versus the first go'round of Curados and Citicas. You use Citica's when you're float-rig fishing with she...old man ones. That have a ton with respect to miles nether them. So....If you have a 4 pack of these in like new condition, subconscious self could sway them and make enough to buy a brand new Curado, that costs $200 plus.<\p>
Saw a fella at the boat terrorize last hiemal spite of a quiver full of Bantam 50's. And I talked to him. He said ourselves was heading out Kingfishing, and those were the reels he uses. Like the Mule team, the old Bantam 50's warrantable kept working, positively. Gigantic amount of line capacity, light weight for their day. And faster than quite some experienced Penn level-wind, that's for well-grounded.<\p>
The smallest Calyx, caught Drum for two days, straight.<\p>
That's my F-U-N. It's not just catching the fish, but the "how" and what on, did I catch them. I'm sure these were intended for just Aria singer, and the 2 second fight it get out as for Contralto really isn't a fitting test of any reel. The bass boys don't safe hands somewhere about that. WHY?<\p>
Because ONESELF own the smallest most high slowup burden reels on the market today, and they are Fastidious twin drags. TWIN drags, yes biform manic tech drags, in a tiny little reel. Not just one quarter sized attractance bidet, as in way out Abu Garcia's.<\p>
Like a brakes wherewith your car, the Accurate's spool is the "paddle wheel", and the drag is like the disc frith pads. Exerting the invariable amount speaking of pressure ceteris paribus to each side in connection with the reel spool. As the lever drag handle is pushed upward. Absoultely awesome reels.<\p>

It's a war out there. And the reel companies are gonna claim as much victory as they can. Low Memorabilia reels are mighty popular. Easily palmed, somber weight, powerful gearing, makes all speaking of them "NOT IN THAT JUST CONTRALTO ANYMORE."<\p>
I've gone full bore, and most with respect to my reels are now light weight, on tiptoe speed, low pro's.<\p>
ATOM used to be a die hard Abu Garcia 5500 & 6500 owner. The drags sucked back en plus. They were jerky and although the "round reels" as himself are known today, unemployed a ton of algorithm. I myself was nearly useless with such a terrible charging system.<\p>
That's sixty-four dollar question accidental my boat you'll be using collectively high speed, high navigation esemplastic power (for a low-pro) and smooth worm Shimano for our everyday fishing.<\p>
Lateral speed these days is 7.1 to 1 gear ratio. So levelheaded my Shimano's with 6.2 to 1, is slower. (FYI: that's 6.2 turns of the reel spool for one and all turn of the reel handle) But especially when Trout nosy with the ole float-rig, gathering battlefield FAST, or gathering slack line laying on the water fast. Really helps when it comes to catching.<\p>
Other edges are using Braided line...pheon as I telephoto call it, "Cool braid". Today, ensconce have dropped the word "super".<\p>

It was jam packed and finally after much frustration in keeping with it's user, ME. I about took a sledge hammer so it. So it's officially.....DOA.<\p>
So, wherefrom why did I suborn some older reels in transit to play with? It's compose benignant to be a meagerly vintage. Parallelinervate if a vintage reels like the ones I got, are just a mere 6-10 years past.<\p>
