Started spinning linen and it’s making me think dark thoughts. Like, “I should weave with energized singles…”
#for real tho I am already hoping to use the resulting fabric in a pleated summer dress so why not try engineering the pleats into the fabric#I am also wanting to dye it one color at the end tho#so the real scary part for me is trying to keep 2 opposing twists seperate#this wheel has been a struggle to spin wool on#it’s been really weird about the tension so the wool kept getting torn out of my hands#to the point that I thought I fucked up royally in buying it#linen though?#it’s been a dream#this is going to be my linen and plying only wheel after the eel wheel fold comes to me I think#yarn#handmade#spinning#handspinning#handspun#wip#work in progress#linen
