Milestone: masterplan ready with extra AutoCAD linetypes
Finally the long awaited moment came. The first element from my todo-mind-map is ready. Here's a snapshot of something that looks like a design map. I already fitted it into a layout for better presentetion. My "help" layer has been hidden for printing. I use color driven plot style to assign linetypes. Lines were designated to layer using the MATCHPROP command - quick and simple once you have all your lines. The process which I followed was described at an earlier post.
As you can see I used some more sophisticated which are not included with AutoCAD linetypes to meet the PN-B-01027 Polish Standard "Graphic signs for master plan drawings". The standard derives from European Standard PN-EN ISO 11091:2001. You can load the linetypes into AutoCAD whenever you need to, by clicking "load" in the linetype selection menu. You can downolad this property border line and other lines from this website. It looks far from cool and awesome but it actually contains some very usefull, easy to use lines. If the lines from the website happen to open in the browser as text copy / paste them into notepad and save them as *.lin filetype. Off course this map is not a finished design master plan. It is still a draft and can be subject to changes but I will use it as a main base fro my project now.
The current state of my todo-mind-map is as follows:
I will soon update the Diplofolio with a new version of this map indicating what is coming next. I'm doubting between developing the big map further to some sort of design stage through sketches and making 3d models of some existing buildings in SketchUp.
