Idk, this is just a concept that's been spinning in the washing machine in my head for a while so I've decided to write it into an au. Well, maybe just write out a general story and characters. Follow if you're interested !!! I'll be posting the designs and a few tidbits of all the Links soon :]

(Also, while this is vaguely inspired by LU, this is a different story with different interpretations of the various heroes. I love LU, but please do not tag this au as such)

Character introduction 2:

The hero of Hyrule

Games - The Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link

Age - 19

Height - 5'5"

Gender + pronouns - Nonbinary, they/them

Nickname(s) - Fairy/Mage/Wanderer

Physical appearance -

(Not pictured: they wear leather gloves and a collection of enchanted bracelets. I couldn't find a way to pose their hands in a good way)

Colour scheme - Mage's skin is a deep tan from living outside their whole life, and their hair is a red tinted, deep shade of brown. Their visible eye is bright green, and the other is- well, you'll find out in time. Their shirt is a light cream, though it's heavily stained with dirt and grass. They have three vests that they wear interchangeably over the shirt, like the armour in game. Their boots are brown leather and their cloak is a natural dyed yellow tinted green.

Character overview - A silent hero, Mage is a kind, gentle soul. They spent most of their life wandering the world in search of... something. They're not sure what. They're not sure when. They travel far and wide, just wandering for as long as they can remember. Mage's sense of wander and curiosity led to them being universally loved in Hyrule as a lost child who helped everyone and couldn't sit still. Their second adventure nearly sent them running away for good. But nope, they stayed and won that fight, even if they could no longer return to the land and people who'd essentially raised them from the age of 10. The danger was too high, with a curse on their blood that caused monsters to hunt them. Also, they are nonverbal.

Character introduction 1:

The hero of Legend

Games- A link to the Past, Triforce Heroes, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Link's Awakening. (In that order)

Age - Around 18-ish? Lost track after Koholint.

Height - 5'1"

Gender + pronouns - Transfemme (Hytopia was her awakening), She/They

Nickname - Vet/Veteran/Hibiscus/Old lady (do not call her this, or risk being smacked by the cane)

Physical appearance -

(The poncho is seperate, however I wanted to add clothing details under it)

Colour scheme - Her hair is a light, warm pink, her skin is pale from lack of sunlight, though scattered with freckles and with dark eyebags, and her eyes are a swirl of grey and purple. Her dress is a muted dark green and the poncho is a warm orange and crocheted, though white and blue sometimes peeks through the stitches (it's a roc's cape sandwiched between two layers of the crocheted fabric). Her boots and bag are brown leather, as are the knee brace and gloves. The cane is wooden with a shiny polish and elemental stones embedded around the top.

Character overview - A shell of a former vibrant hero. Her distaste for her current state and past is often mistaken for her being bitter and spiteful, which...isn't wrong, however much they hate that fact and try not to be. After being rescued from a shipwreck, she lost her leg, lover, and will to live. While they do have a heart of gold and strong desire to help, they're crippled by depression, chronic pain, and survivor's guilt. They miss their girlfriend every second of every day. Currently, she's under the care of Sahasrahla, who helps with getting her out of bed, making sure she eats, making sure she takes her prescription elixrs, ensuring she takes care of her scars, and dropping off food and gifts from friends. As grumpy as Vet is about being alive, she is grateful for his support. However, do not mistake this for weakness or incompetence. While she isn't capable of doing the feats of her youth anymore, she can and will kick your ass. Just not with a sword. The poncho is enchanted to carry a whole arsenal of magical weapons. (You can tell this character is my favourite punching bag, huh- /lh)
