hey is there a version of linux that can run video games, krita, and gimp and how would i go about installing it?

i see lots of people in comments like "get linux snake eyes" "get linux blue eyes white dragon" "get linux hyper beam ultra fucker kung pow penis" but which one would actually work to replace windows and just takes a 8gb usb to install?

Can someone teach me how to install Linux onto my 'puter? I'm tired of Windows and I've heard good things about Linux.

Anyone knows how exactly .dazips work? Why can't I simply unzip and place them in my addin folder?

I need a workaround the DAUpdate/DAModder for some DA:O mods, can't run them on WINE. –_–

I mean... technically I can run, but it doesn't really installs the mods.

arch (boss won't like it but is my personal daily driver)

ubuntu (🤮 but is what the company uses for everything)

pop (slightly more bearable ubuntu ig)

So uuuuhh, any fellow artist on linux, help pls ?

I recently received a new screen (yay ! ) but for some reason when I try to set my tablet to my new screen, my huion driver just messes up it's placement horribly, and I can't use my tablet on the other screen ?

Here I'm on my laptop screen, perfectly normal scenario, no abnormalities.

Here as you can see, I toggled the second screen, yet my pointer is still on the laptop, main screen. Also, very weird behavior, my pointer as displayed here is at the limit of what my driver think the screen top left edge is, which is in the middle of the screen ??? I don't understand why it's doing that...

I tried to change who's the main screen, changing layout, I rebooted my laptop, but so far no result.

If anyone knows what's going on, or knows someone who can help me, you'll be blessed, please help I don't want to stick to my small screen forever 😵😵😵

LINUX DISTRO OPINIONS WANTED

Okay I know theres a bunch of you [Distro]-offical blogs following me and many others with strong opinions about linux, help me out here. I'm moving my desktop from windows to linux(yeah I know sue me I was through every year of "this is the year of desktop linux", it never was) and borked my laptops void install(also dont ask im not a smart bot sometimes). Sell me on your linux flavour in the notes(pref in the replies but do ya rebloging if you wanna make more chaos discussion ) <3

PC: standard gaming/streaming/art set up, AMD cpu, nvidia GPU im replacing with AMD once finances arent hell. Maybe a little coding but I leave that stuff for work cause im too sad to code for free rn

Laptop: One of those suped up xps13s, allllllll up in that maxed i7 from that gen and no gpu to speak of. Just my mobile code machine and maybe light gaming
