I really need to start hyper fixating on canon ships more, I feel like it would be healthier for my mental and emotional wellbeing. Like canon ships are like the childhood best friend that I grew up with, their loyal sweet comforting, usually has almost endless content, and usually safe and loving but they’re predictable. Where as non canon ships and rare pairs are like the mysterious bad boy that just came into town that all my friends and family are telling me to stay away from; but I can’t help but be drawn to them because they’re all new and exciting, and unpredictable. I don’t know what it is but they always draw me in like a moth to flame, I’m always like “ So what if there are only like 4 pages about them on ao3 , it’s not like I’ll get obsessed or anything” 🫠
