LIOEL, ELEMENT OF WIND
Major Divinity number 2!!! lets hear it for major divinity number 2!!!
Lioel embodies the element of wind, including the absence wind is sent to fill. this means he rules over all sounds (esp music!), creatures of the air, knives, language, breath/breathing, inspiration, communication, and of course, death.
he is the patron of daemons, aka the horned humanoids of Yuwen. Get it? Horn? like the thing you make a noise through? that's hollow? yeah. that thing.
Lioel has permanent second child syndrome, and actually gets so unhappy with his domain of "nothing" that he attempts a coup of sorts, trying to kill his dad (the world tree) Oris with a poison so strong and deadly it causes an apocalyptic event felt across the Cosmic Pool known as The Rending (ooooo so dramatic)
the force of the Rending is so powerful it actually ends up causing Lioel to spill the rest of the poison on himself, thus eradicating him from existence.
but u cannot remove non-existence from existence. so who takes his place? well. you'll find out soon enough. but if u thought Lioel was bad, just wait until you meet Liminus lol
there's a whole period in yuwenic art history where people depict the god of wind Lioel as the most demure of pretty boys ^^ its canon now!

in prehistoric times, its said lioel, elemental god of Wind, after releasing his daemons onto the world, climbs the tallest mtn in old grove, and builds a very tall tower, and secludes himself in this tower for many years as he writes the sheet music of the cosmic resonance. this is a moment during that long, arduous period of artistic gestation and manifestation where lioel meets the beady eyes of a flock of birds flying past his studio window-
