So here's one for you... Emma's plan is to put all her Dark One-ness into Zelena, then kill her with Excalibur. Two problems. She told everyone that her plan was for them to be punished (and how exactly does that punish them?)... and if she makes Zelena the Dark One then kills her with Excalibur, that would logically just make Emma the Dark One AGAIN. She wouldn't have accomplished very much... ;)

1) Dark One lies, Dark One tricks? 

It’s possible that they wrote that line before they really knew where the season was going but it’s equally possible that Emma was being dramatic for show or trying to throw them off of her real plan. So while they were trying to figure out what they did to her, she could work on Operation: I Put Half of the World’s Evil in my Boyfriend, Whoops.

2) I want to start this off by saying that any plan that involves making Zelena the Dark One for any amount of time is an objectively terrible plan.

Anyway, yeah that’s what you’d think would happen but I guess the full sword has special properties so it can overcome the limitations of the dagger. That’s not too much of a stretch. I’ll allow it.
