47. Is there a trope that you’ve written before but are now sick of?
HMMM not that i can think of off the top of my head honestly. i can't actually think of many things that my fics even have in common other than like... themes of abuse and autonomy/identity that are still present in everything i write today (both fic and non) SO.
76. How do you deal with writing pressure, whether internal or external?
it's all internal because i sure as fuck wouldn't let another person dictate what i do writing-wise KJSNDFJK. tbh i just like... not ignore it but. i accept it? my main "pressure" (if i'm understanding this question correctly) is just like. the fact that i don't feel like writing 90% of the time anymore, and the 10% that i do feel like it, i often can't get myself to sit down and do it.
there are a lot of reasons for it. it's tempting to just blame my likely adhd and i'm sure that's part of it, but like... it's also completely okay if the answer is "i don't want to right now". and it's okay if "right now" lasts for weeks. months. years. forever, even. i think it's better to just have compassion for myself and try to internalise the idea that my worth has nothing to do with what i create or don't create.
it can be hard, because i used to write CONSTANTLY as a kid and teenager, and i always wonder why i can't do that now. but it is what it is! and to the surprise of nobody, the desire to write always comes back to me eventually. it came back to me recently after a year-long break and i am delighted by it.
