Kaito had been walking around this place when he came upon a strange owl. He tilted his head and wondered who it belonged to. You didn’t see this type of owl often. So naturally he took a liking to it.

He decided to look it over and then just stare into its eyes for awhile. This would be fun and be quite a challenge. Owls always won staring contests with humans but Kaito was different. He could have one for a very long time, considering his chosen profession.

This might turn out to be more fun than he bargained for.

Once upon a time Evie had met a delightfully spider who ran an even more delightful shop. Every once in a while she would stop by for a pastry and a chat. It was then she felt something; something strong, magic. It was dwarfed, like most magic in Hive City. But it was definitely there none the less. And while it wasn’t dark magic, there was definitely something brooding about the boy. He didn’t seem cocky or full of himself. Something that normally accompanied such power. Interesting, Evie, liked interesting. Hot Apple Cider in hand; Evie sat down next to the boy. “You need a haircut…You should totally let me give you a haircut. Just because you’ve been plucked from your world, doesn’t mean time has stopped. I’m Evie.”

Part of her duties as the manager and owner of Spider Bites Bakery was of course making sure that her employees were happy with their situation. An unhappy employee produces sub-par work, and eventually, quits! No employees, no income.

Well.. she could probably get by with just her and her spiders for a while, but that’s not the point.

During a slow period of work in the late afternoon, she found Harry decorating a cake (with a design she didn’t recognize, but it still looked nice). Standing at his side, she piped up.

“Sooo, Harry~... you’ve been here a little while. Are you happy here, so far?”

     “nico knows just the thing for you!” she proclaims, probably scaring a stranger right off the bat. she procures a hefty outfit from her bag, bestowing it upon him like it was, indeed, the best thing to ever grace his life. “you can help nico summon the dessert fairy! shes rather shy but if she sees one of her own, then she’ll definitely come and give nico lots of chocolate!” the outfit is very obviously a badly sewn together fairy outfit. bless you, harry potter.
