Makeup of the day:
Eyeshadow- bottom row, middle shadow from the Dazzling Diamonds palette by Ofra with Super Shock Eyeshadow in Dance Party from Colourpop.
Mascara- Lash Contortionist in Black/Brown by Physician's Formula on top of Photo Finish Lash Primer by Smashbox.
Highlighter- Illusion from the Blacklight Highlighter palette by BH cosmetics.
Concealer- Wonder Pencil in Light and Gotcha Covered Concealer in Ivory, both by Nyx cosmetics.
Lip color- Metallic Matte Liquid Lipstick in Lucinda by BH Cosmetics with Lip Lava (no longer sold) by CoverGirl on top.
So I wanted to wear lots of sparkles in honor of Carrie Fisher on May 4th. I couldn't get my hair into space buns (I don't like covering my ears and my hair is so thick, it didn't want to fit into small cute buns on the top of my head. :( So as always I used another shadow beneath the Colourpop one. I broke down and put another order in because they were having a 20% off sale on the whole site (which meant out of the 10 items I bought, I got two for free).
One of my coworkers really liked the highlighter (we had been talking about this the Blacklight palette compares to Anastasia Beverly Hills MoonChild palette, half the cost with 3-4 almost identical dupes which you can read about here). Sadly I'm finding out more and more if you try to put sparkly gloss on top of a 'matte' base lipstick, they have a tendency to break down the original. So from now on I'll have to decide to do one or the other I think. Also the weather was warm this week (in the 70's) and super muggy. I tried using a powder with setting spray (from Rimmel London), but it did nothing because I was sweating a lot from my back implant (it's made it so I can't tolerate heat in the slightest).
