man Lippman would be so proud of Chuuya for successfully pretending to be a vampire and fooling both Fyodor and Dazai with his acting game.
Im crashing rn.... Like... Omg.....
having Chuuya and Lippman thoughts
Lippman suddenly and dramatically putting on an act as if he's on stage rehearsing lines, and Chuuya used to strangely look at him and pretend like he either didn't see anything or roll his eyes and tell Lippman to save it for the big screen, he doesn't care. but now, Lippman knowing Chuuya has so much potential for acting not just in a movie but for undercover purposes too, with a little persuasion he pulls Chuuya into eventually joining in and it becomes an inside thing between them.
Lippman just starts greeting Chuuya from then on as whatever he feels like acting. one day it's as a socialite, the next it's a detective, and once he approached Chuuya as a car salesman. he's testing to see if Chuuya will go along with it and if Chuuya's capable without breaking character
one day the two are acting out a stand-off with their guns pointed at one another, and all Piano Man can think is, 'here we go again', while Albatross is excitedly watching on the sidelines tempted to join in himself and make it a three-way fight (as himself)

Part 2; Trouble.
Previous, next.
Read here, or on ao3.
Chuuya Nakahara lived a pretty good life.
Sure, his dad was never really around and his mom died when he was little; but he had his older siblings, both of whom practically raised him, he loved them to death, even if sometimes they were annoying (especially Verlaine).
He had a close group of friends, and he was doing really well in school, not to mention; he was filthy rich, having a dad that worked overseas had its perks after all.
Despite how good his life was Chuuya still had a habit of getting into trouble, not too much, but sometimes he’d skip school, or get drunk, or stay out past curfew.
But he wasn’t a bad kid.
The day was just like every other school day, not to say it was bad, but it was a bit monotonous.
Chuuya got dressed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, and got on his motorcycle.
Yes, his motorcycle, his sister, Kouyou, may not like him having it, but he did have a license.
His father had gotten the motorcycle for him on his sixteenth birthday, not that he was there for it, if he recalls correctly, his dad was in America.
Chuuya parked his motorcycle in the front of the school and made his way to the doors.
Natoru Hayami, a boy with messy blond-hair tied in a short braid was waiting at the front for him, as per usual, wearing his sunglasses, which he would not take off even once inside.
“Took you long enough,” he teased as they made their way inside.
Chuuya rolled his eyes, but didn’t respond.
“Something on your mind?” Natoru asked.
The red-head took a moment, and then responded, “I just got a bad feeling about today, that’s all.”
“Woah, like a premonition?” his best friend asked.
He shrugged in response.
“I’ve had a few of those,” Natoru commented, Chuuya could tell he was going to give a whole long ass story about it.
They talked until they had to part ways, though it was really only Natoru who talked, Chuuya was a pretty quiet person, but the other loved the sound of his own voice.
Chuuya quickly forgot about the bad feeling from the morning as class started.
He tried his best to pay attention, he really did, but it was boring, and he found himself spacing out.
Eventually, class let out and he was allowed to go to lunch, he immediately spotted his friend group, which Natoru had nicknamed ‘the flags’, and, despite explaining himself numerous times, the name still didn’t really make any sense.
“Baki, wanna come over to my place after school? I just got a new game,” Natoru asks him.
Baki was a nickname for a nickname, Natoru had given everyone really weird nicknames; his happened to be Arahabaki, the god of calamity, destruction and, the reason for the nickname; the god of rebellion, despite this the blond had gotten tired of saying the whole thing, and just started calling him Baki.
“I can’t, Albatross, Kouyou wants a family night since Verlaine’s gonna be moving soon.”
After everyone got annoyed at Natoru’s nicknames for them, they all started calling him Albatross as a way to tease him, they had expected him to get annoyed; but he’d actually seemed pretty happy about finally getting a nickname.
“Lame,” he murmurs.
“Anyone else wanna come?” Natoru askes hopefully.
“I have lessons,” Akira answers, giving an apologetic smile, which alone would make most people swoon, male and female, or, if you were the same gender as them, neither.
“Don’t you always, Lippmann?” he asks, Akira shruggs in response, tucking a strand of their soft blonde hair behind their ear.
“I can’t, father wants to have ‘bonding’ time,” Kanato answers, with a small smile, running a hand through his hair; which was mostly bleached with little streaks of black, which he had dyed, none of them knew what his actual hair color was except Hyousetsu who had known him a great deal longer than the rest.
Albatross sighs, “Too bad, you’re fun to play with Piano-man.”
“No,” Hyousetsu answers simply, Natoru doesn’t even bat an eye at his answer, he hadn’t expected him to agree, he nicknamed him ‘Ice-man’ for a reason, he was cold, and standoffish, some people had even mistaken him for a very sketchy grown man despite only being seventeen.
He also didn’t even bother asking Keisuke, his parents were always too worried about his health to let him go to friend’s house, which was fair as he looked quite sickly most of the time.
“I’ll ask a secondary friend then,” Albatross says sadly.
“Secondary friend?” Kanato raised and eyebrow, amused, leaning back in his chair which happened to give away his height; he was almost tallest out of all of them, second only to Akira.
“It’s a thing,” Natoru states indignantly.
“It’s really not,” Akira tells him softly.
They all continued on like this for some time, it was just the way they were.
Before long, and too soon for Chuuya’s liking, they had to go back to classes, the ginger considered skipping, but decided against it, he wasn’t really sure why though, just a feeling.
By the time classes were all done he was ready to go home, but he had band, so he made his way to the room, running into Natoru, Akira, and Kanato, who all also did band, on the way.
He was going to do what he usually did, when someone he didn’t recognize—or more accurately, recognized far too well, walked in.
He had to do a double take, the kid hadn’t lived here in years, but he’d grown a lot since the last time he’d seen him; but he still recognized him, he was pretty sure he always would; the lanky brunette was the only person in middle school who stuck by him when a friend of his outed him to the whole school.
The boy in question, of course, was none other than Osamu Dazai.
“Dazai!” Chuuya exclaimed, drawing the attention of several of his bandmates.
Dazai smirked teasingly, yet there was something else, something softer in the glint in his eyes. “Awe, the Chibi remembers me, what a good dog I have.”
And just like that, the ginger remembers why he had never asked him out; because he was annoying as fuck; a menace.
“Who’s this Baki?” Natoru asks, asking the question everyone in the room had been wondering.
“I’m his best friend,” Dazai is quick to state, which earns him an eye roll from the ginger.
“He’s a kid a knew in middle school,” Chuuya clarifies.
“That makes more sense, I’m your best friend, right Baki?”
Chuuya isn’t given a chance to reply before Dazai, with unhidden amusement asks, “Baki?”
The ginger glares at the boy, which only causes him to further smirk. “I’m pretty sure Baka would be better,” the brunette comments.
“Why you son of a-“
