If you’ve been reading this blog you’d know I’ve been trying more Huda Beauty products and recently I was recommended their liquid eyeshadows. Since I had so much success with the glitter shadows from Beauty Bay I decided why not. So today I’m gonna be chatting to you lovely people about the Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows, £22.00.
For those who don’t know the Matte & Metal shadows are double ended, on one end you get a liquid matte eyeshadow and on the opposite end you get a metal shimmer shadow. Hence the name really. I had read so many good reviews of how pigmented the shadows were, how easy they were to blend and the long lasting formula so I was pretty convinced.
While they did have a big collection of gorgeous shades I decided to play it safe and get Bubble bath / pink champagne which are a matte pink shade and rose gold pink shimmer. Since these were colours I’d be most likely to wear I decided I go with those. It honestly lives up the hype, I love using this when I can’t be bothered to do a full glam for work and need something quick. I literally put the matte liquid over my eye lid, blend with a brush and throw on the shimmer shade to my inner eye and I’m done ready to go. Obviously I love makeup anyway but having products that are so quick to throw on makes the whole makeup process during the week for me so much faster and means I can sleep a little longer.
Like the reviews said this formula is hella pigmented, long lasting and so easy to work with. Can’t wait to get more shades especially a gold one I saw. If you wanna see the shade range head over to www.boots.com for all Huda Beauty products.
