Ironblood: "Doctor, as you know, this is said to be one of the most well-preserved relics of R'lyeh. Don't tell me how it survived the periodic lava flows.
Of course, there are supposed to be more extensive ruins in the jungles of Nan Zhao and isolated fragments have been found near the arctic circle."

Characters that I want to see added to the Energon Universe - G.I. Joe Part 1
G.I. Joe Colton and Adventure Team: The original Joe and his band of daring explorers, cyborgs, and other unique personalities. Based on the toyline from the 70s, he's the namesake of the entire team. IDW would do this, and even include Miles Mayhem as a former member... but unfortunately they also turned Colton into a robo-racist. Let's not do that this time around.
Kwinn: Inuit mercenary and originally a comic only character, Kwinn stands out as one of the first antagonists to get the better of the Joe's, bith outsmarting and outfighting them, as well as his friendship with Snake Eyes. Kwinn's a really cool character overall.
Action Force: The "British/International" version of GI Joe, but that would be underselling them. Made up of 4/5 "Forces," Action Force had their own unique cast of characters long before they imported Hasbro's dudes. I think it would make a lot of sense for Action Force to form in light of the Decepticon attack on Chicago; plus, a comic-only Action Force character has already shown up in the Destro miniseries.
The Red Shadows: Action Force's original enemies, led by the wicked Baron Ironblood and the Black Major, evil villains and horrible bosses that are so bad that they make Cobra Commander look like employer of the year.
Action Force Datafile featuring Red Vulture, the Shadowtrak Driver from Battle Action Force, cover dated 21 April 1984.
Red Vulture was a Series Two action figure from 1983. Like his fellow Red Shadows he was a repaint of the Series One German Stormtrooper. As with the other Red Shadows his head was remolded so that he had a mask/armour covering his face. The main way to distinguish him from the other Red Shadows was that his gloves were black while the ordinary Red Shadow had red gloves. This didn't always happen though and sometimes he went on sale with red gloves.
The Shadowtrak was a repaint/retooling of the Series One AF5 Multi Mission vehicle.

Far away came the mutter of the drums. Kane mechanically cleansed his sword on his tattered garments. The trail ended here, and Kane was conscious of a strange feeling of futility. He always felt that, after he had killed a foe. Somehow it always seemed that no real good had been wrought; as if the foe had, after all, escaped his vengeance.

The silver-heaed chap in the foreground is the Red Jackal, who later, in the service of Cobra Commander, becomes Destro... according to British G.I.Joe continuity.
