This is based on an RP linkmeet I’m in. The names being the same is just a coincidence.
Lazy Morning
“Darling, wake up.” A voice says, it's a mix between smooth and soft with a perfect deepness to it that makes him want the voice to read him to sleep. Then there’s another voice. “Is he still asleep?” It’s louder, harsher but still round around the edges, higher in pitch but it feels like the perfect compliment for the first voice.
They talk more but he doesn’t quite register the words, just the calming sounds. Then there’s a hand in his hair, there’s a slight pull to it, like his hair is getting stuck on something on the fingers. “Sweetheart, your rings are getting stuck.” The first voice says, a touch exasperated as if he has said this often. “Oh shit.” The second voice curses before the hand leaves his hair.
He mourns the loss of the hand, it hurt a little but it still felt nice. He makes a grumbling noise to see if it’ll return but all he gets are a pair of laughs. “He’s the one who wanted to wake up early today.” The second voice says pissed with a sigh that is a touch too fond for any heat to come off the words. A snort. “You’re not much of a morning person either, sweetheart.” There’s a soft slap sound quickly followed by giggling.
He’s starting to get curious by the scene happening around him, maybe just for a second. He slowly blinks his eyes open.
The first thought at the sight is pretty.
The sunlight from the window catches on pink hair, casting a soft glow, softening the stern glare. It also gives a spotlight to the thousands of freckles and glowing green eyes on the other.
Those green eyes move to him and the grin on that pretty face softens. “Good morning sleepy head.” Ravio says with a laugh. The pink haired one turns his attention to him. “Look who decided to join the waking world finally.” Legend adds with a teasing grin on his beautiful face. A sleepy smile grows on his face. “Good morning, loves.” Sky grumbles out tiredly.
“I’m Mr. Hero, therefore I get to decide your fate!” Ravio yells with a sword pointed towards the two heroes sitting on the carpeted ground. Violet and sky blue eyes look up at him with clear amusement.
Legend is the first to properly react to the words by snorting. “Okay, sure. Tell us, oh great Mr. Hero, what fate shall befall us?” Legend indulges before he takes another sip of his cider. Sky tries not to worry about the idea of a drunk Ravio pointing a sword at them, keeping a smile on his face, holding his own mug of cider with both hands. “I, Mr. Hero, declare your fate is to give me more!” Ravio replies, throwing the sword to the side before swiping Legend’s cup from his hand. Chugging it down before Legend can react. Legend stares in shock before he springs up to his feet and launches himself at Ravio, who yelps in surprise.
Sky watches the mirrored duo fall to the ground, wrestling for an empty cup. Sky can’t help but laugh. He laughs so hard that tears are falling down his face, which is a mistake because his mug gets taken by a hand covered in rings. Sky screeches in offence, wings puffing up. “That’s my cider!” Sky yells at Legend as the pink-haired hero chugs his drink. “Then you should have told your boyfriend not to steal mine.” Legend replies with a cheeky smirk as he returns the empty cider cup to Sky, who takes it back by reflex. Whatever Sky was going to reply with was interrupted by a strained voice, “Get off me.” The voice says, coming from under Legend. Sky and Legend look down at Ravio.
Ravio is facedown on the floor, missing his scarf from the scuffle. Legend standing on the merchant’s back. Sky looks up to Legend, now that he is properly paying attention to him, is now taller than usual. Sky sighs fondly. “Love, it seems you’re stepping on your husband,” Sky says. Legend grins brightly. “Yes, I am!” Sky chuckles at Legend’s enthusiasm. He glances down at Ravio, who is giving Sky puppy eyes. Begging him without words for rescue.
“Love, it seems we are out of cider. You should get another keg.” Sky suggests, Legend’s eyes light up at the idea, and he happily hops off Ravio, who makes a wheezing sound. “Don’t make out without me!” Legend yells before he runs out the door. “No promises!” Ravio yells back just before the door closes. “Ravio!” Legend screams from the other side of the door, and Ravio snickers. Sky laughs at his boyfriends’ antics. There's no yelling that follows, so Sky can assume Legend decided it would be faster to get the kegs.
Ravio turns around to lie on his back, stretching out. He looks up to Sky standing over him. “Do you plan to get off the floor?” Sky asks with a soft smile. “You’re obviously not drunk enough if you think standing is the better option.” Ravio drunkenly replies with a pout. Sky hums in reply. “Apparently not. Well, I’ll make sure to fix that when Legend comes back.” Sky tells Ravio, who cheers in reply.
The door slams open, and in walks Legend, a giant grin on his flushed face, with a keg of cider under each arm. “Bottoms up!”
