Who's your favorite music composer for the Life is Strange series?
My favorite is Johnathan Morrali.
Jonathan Morali! Obstacles (by his band) is still my favorite song out of all the games' soundtracks, and you really can't beat his soothing, instrumental tracks.
Tracks like "Max and Chloe," the main menu theme, "Max and Chloe in the pool," and "Timelines," are so viscerally nostalgic, comforting, and atmospheric, it's unreal. There is really beauty in simplicity.
And from LiS2, I adore "A Long Road Ahead," (the closest sounding track to "Max and Chloe" imo) "To Our Grandparents," "Chris's Theme" (the instrumental version of "Death with Dignity" by Sufjan Stevens) "Adrift," and "Fireflies Lanterns."
Those purely instrumental tracks were I was really missing from D9's games since their OSTs by Daughter and A&J Stone are all albums with lyrics. The games felt so weirdly silent without them.
Thank you for asking! These games just aren't the same without their soundtracks.
