Why Cassidy isn’t a flat/personality lacking character!!

Heyo, i’ve seen a lot of people say Cass was made just as a romance character but i disagree, here’s why:

She talks about her past, about her abusive father and brother, how her mother would stay quiet about it and how that affected her. How she’s afraid of commitment, relationship and life wise, how she can’t stay in one place. She loves music, tries to learn spanish for Sean, talks about how she’d like to visit Louisiana. She seems like she genuinely cares about Daniel, even if he’s rude to her, she’s very concerned when Sean reveals his powers. She makes her morals very obvious, how she is not okay with the heist, and if you chose to do the heist she’ll be very mad.

She’s a sweet but damaged girl who keeps to herself. I think if she’s an active character in Ep 4 she will open up more, i just think she’s a very closed person. The reason why her romance with Sean is so prominent and pushed is that that is what is helping her open up, she’s comfortable around Sean. I know a lot of people are mad about the “till we fuck again” thing, i personally think that’s projection/self preservation/fear of commitment yada yada yada, you can see the way she looks at Sean (And how Sean looks at her, the shop scene, the fire scene, oh boy!!). She looks visibly jealous when he brings up Jess or Lyla, i think she really loves him but is afraid.

Anyways, that’s just my opinion, i do think it sucks there was only a fucking kiss for Finn. Finn deserved more plot exploration, but just because Dontnod sucks doesn’t mean Cass isn’t an amazing girly and y’all gotta start respecting her!!
