(Realizing what he’s done, Daniel releases Charles and falls to his knees. Sean rushes to his brother’s side)

Sean: Oh shit, Daniel... you’re bleeding!

Daniel: I-I’m okay Sean.

Chris: Dad! Wake up! Please Dad, no... 

Daniel: Chris-

Chris: WHY?! Why did you do this?

Daniel: I was just... trying to protect you, l-like a real superhero.

Chris: You’re not a hero, you’re not my friend. You’re just... A MONSTER!!!

UNREQUITED LOVE (CASSIDY EDITION) HEADCANONS

Time for some unrequited love headcanons man.

So, the lake swimming scene still happens between Sean and Cassidy, except when Cassidy tells Sean about how Finn totally has something for him, Sean realizes he likes Finn as well and tells Cassidy this.

Cassidy then doesn't tell Sean about her feelings toward him because she wants him to be happy, and obviously that's how he feels with Finn.

Instead, she suggests Sean tells Finn how he feels.

This leads to Sean leaving Cassidy to swim alone in the lake as he gets dressed and practically bounds to Finn.

Sean confesses, and like Cassidy had told him, Finn likes him back. They share a kiss and leave figuring out what they are until after their little siege mission.

Cassidy sees the kiss from afar and she is crushed.

Sean goes through with their siege, which Cassidy tried to stop in the first place. It angered her that Sean could go through with such a stupid plan but she sticks close around in case it goes wrong.

After Daniel gets worked up and his powers grow uncontrollable, Sean's eye is of course injured. Cassidy sees the commotion and quickly runs back in.

She sees Sean hurt and quickly rushes to him, looking at his eye and frantically hoping he's alive, that everyone's alive.

She knows they have to get out of there. After they all wake up, she happily helps them all, especially Sean, to pack their bags and leave.

When they leave, and finally pack up their bags, Finn and Sean only grow closer.

Cassidy only feels worse and worse each time they flirt or are near each other. It hurts so bad but Cassidy stays silent.

After months, she doesn't grow tired of seeing Sean, but they barely speak anymore.

Ultimately, she is alone on the sidelines as Sean and Finn fall deeper in love with each other.
