SPIDEYPOOL AU

Where it’s Halloween and Wade wants to take Ellie trick-or-treating because she’s always been too little up until now (”Daddy thinks I can’t handle the scary costumes, but I can!”). He doesn’t have a costume but he’s not about to flake on his little girl like that, so he ends up not wearing his Deadpool suit, and going out with his skin uncovered, passing it off as; “I’m Freddy Krueger minus the fedora and lovely nails, the budget didn’t account for inverted Where’s Waldo attire”.

Ellie holds his hand in her little Ninja-Bat costume (She couldn’t choose between the two) and silently reassures her Dad that it’s okay, he’s still handsome to her. They run into Peter, who thought it would be ironic as hell to just throw on his Spider-Man super suit and call it a day (He’s seen about 4 other duplicates of him, in varying size, who he fully believes if granted super-human abilities, could beat him at his own job).

Someone dressed as Edward Scissor Hands accidentally shoulder barges him on the street and all of his candy drops out of his little jack-o-lantern bucket. He’s scrambling on the ground, trying to pick up as much as he can salvage while multiple four year old’s grapple at the candy all over the concrete. Wade steps in and helps him pick it all up, offering to “Escort a lovely damsel such as yourself around this fine town”. Ellie immediately loves Peter (so does Wade) and they spend the whole night together trick-or-treating.

Peter asks if Wade might wanna hangout as friends sometime, outside of once a year on the 31st of October. Wade says he’ll have to console his calendar later tonight, so maybe for the time being he should contact him some other way (”I lost my Bat-Signal, sorry webs”). Peter can so tell Wade is flirting, but he exchanges numbers regardless.

They text non stop, 24hrs a day, it’s frankly insane. There is obvious mutual pining.

On the Super-Anti-Hero flipside, Spidey and Deadpool are friends, nothing else, but after meeting the real Wade Wilson, Peter would recognise that voice anywhere. He doesn’t know whether to come forward with what he knows, and he ends up hiding it for months before he tell him it was him that Halloween night, and he was just being careful with his secret identity.
