miniskirts have always been an eye catcher. maybe cause they're too short—too short for society, but too long for your best friend's garage party. too loud for the basic and too quiet for wide eyes.

unveiled to us as indecent, miniskirts have shot out of the soil like wild weeds: raw and imperfect. wilted but a symbol of life and careless conversation. maybe, as a human, her love for red sharpies and bad-quality photographs would be contagious—the queen of bad stitching and dad jokes.

nothing is perfect, really. but more specifically, there's no certain way a miniskirt should look or be styled. just like there is no limit to who you could be, there's nothing you cannot say in your personal design. cut those jeans. rip that shirt and layer it under. sew that random scrap from the bottom of your everything drawer on there. you are the boss of your own image. its okay to grow out of the ground sideways. it makes you dimensional—inexplicably you.

that reminds me, i have a denim skirt wallowing in the back of my closet... where did i put my scissors??
