5 nice things about myself, you say. Hmmm. I hate doing these ones - they go against the grain. To think I was saying very nice things about you to my son last night.

Anyway...

I like the fact I was able to con new Dalek socks out of hubby

I love that I have accumulated a mini collection of Ordnance Survey maps

I really like my ability to get cuddles from my sons whenever I want/need them

I like that my sense of being able to give things/people one more chance has meant that I usually benefit from that decision (and no, you setting me this request has no reflection upon me choosing this one, honest)

I’m a useful person to know. Yes, I like that aspect of myself. 

This took an absolute flipping age to do!

Aww, thank you! I was truly ecstatic that night, and literally danced in the aisles with happiness after the show (before we went and stood outside the stagedoor to ogle Tatennant, like you do).

I just read your five-things-that-makes-me-happy post and I was quite puzzled when I read the one about your nightie. It didn't make sense to me at first, because the best thing I know; is to stay in my nightie all day (as I am doing right now) but then it daunted on me. I know you have a lot of different illnesses and that affects your daily life highly. I don't know. That just makes me appreciate that I'm able to do it and I just want to say I'm sorry. I hope you're having a lovely day <3

Hello liteangirl!

Oops, sorry; I didn’t mean for that post to be so confusing. My fault. I know - being able to swan around in your nightwear is normally a luxury (and long may it continue to be so) - but when you are ill enough to stay in bed for a days or so, or just saunter about unable to do much beyond lie down on the sofa, to finally feel well enough to get dressed and ditch the nightie is an absolutely wonderful feeling, it really is!

 Aw, thank you! There really is no need for you to say sorry. You see, there’s a silver lining to all this, and that is that it makes me appreciate so much more all the little things. Who’d have thought that I’d celebrate when I cook something, or actually vacuum the house? That would have been unthinkable at one time. Yesterday was a pretty blah day (I basically returned to bed and lost it) but today is looking miles better already, so thank you for the wonderful good wishes. May your day be lovely too <3
