16. Wait to marathon a series or read as they’re released 

I always wait between books either way, mostly because I like to read the physical copies and I can’t exactly go spree-buying books D: But if money wasn’t an obstacle, I’d do both xD 

17. movie or tv adaptations 

eish, hard one... I have a few movie adaptations that are just GREAT! but the truth is that in tv shows they have more time and the need to butcher plots for time isn’t as prominent. so I guess it’s tv adaptations in the end x)

Last film I saw? I rewatched Sing Street for the first time in a long time.

Blogs following? I follow 611 but my dash is always dead (might be a side effect of the Australian time zone).

What am I wearing? Pjs including a Harvard t-shirt my Mum bought me from a souvenir store in Boston.

Dream Job? Working to protect women and children and vulnerable persons.

Dream Trip? I’m heading off to Europe alone in July for a month-long Contiki tour! 

Play any instruments? Nope...I do know how to play Mary had a Little Lamb on keyboard though.

Random fact? I’m currently on the mission to not kill a house plant.

Languages? English fluent but I am learning Deafblind finger spelling and tactile signing.

Favourite food? Chocolate (except involving peanuts or orange to one of my friend's complete horror when he offered me some after revealing my chocolate obsession )

Favourite songs? Depends on the week, day and hour.

There’s a really good social justice program at my university that involves attending social justice events and committing to volunteer hours. I was so excited to complete it but I left it too late in my degree to really think about it and it’s just too much work. I’m kind of disappointed in myself because it’s something that gets put on your academic transcript when you finish but I also know I should focus more on my studies this year.

Any ideas for non-fiction recommendations? I’ve been really enjoying a lot of memoirs lately and some of the social/political science books I’ve been reading for my major project this semester!!

the countdown begins...

so I’ve finished classes for the semester but I have my final assessments still to go, first a submission and campaign strategy for my policy class due midnight Saturday (worth 50% of my grade ew) and then exams for constitutional and civil practice (both worth 40% each)

BUT after the 25th I’ll be done and I can sleep and read and watch tv and be anti-social and omg I’m excited
