• they bond over their daddy issues

• Lit prefers Apollo as Lester bc that's who he fell in love with him as

• Apollo secretly thinks that the completely unhinged way that Lit fights is hot

• when Apollo is visiting the Waystation he'll just walk around humming to himself and Lit thinks it's the cutest thing ever

• Apollo has definitely made a playlist of songs that remind him of Lit and when he's up on Olympus he'll listen to it and cry

• Apollo is constantly afraid that something terrible will happen to Lit (bc of how every single one of his previous relationships has ended up)

• Lit assures him that he doesn't care, and he is willing to take the risk because he loves Apollo

• when Apollo is away, Lit will talk to the animals at the Waystation about how much he misses Apollo.

Litpollo Headcanon No. Two

The Waystation Gang watching ATLA. Lit and Apollo projecting onto Zuko and bonding over that.

Litpollo Headcanon: Rainy Days

-Whenever it rains, Apollo drags Lit into building a pillow fort with him and they cuddle inside while watching heaven releases its sorrows upon earth

-Most of the time Lit falls asleep first and Apollo would just lay there and listen to his heartbeat while smiling like the lovesick idiot he is 🥺

-On nights when Lit would wake up from his vivid nightmares, usually shaken and on the edge of tears, Apollo would just hold him, whispering words of comfort to help calm him down

-Apollo totally has a stuffed animal or two on hand you can’t change my mind

-Lit teases him about it but secretly finds it adorable

-The rain makes for a great accompaniment when they occasionally duet (65% sad songs, 20% love songs, 15% sad love songs)

-The griffins would sometimes try to nose their way into the fort and cause everything to end in a giant hug pile

Litpollo Headcanon No. 3

Apollo attempts to introduce Lit to modern music. They share headphones and listen to Pompeii, Icarus, Radioactive, Whatever it Takes, The Last of the Real Ones, Hold Me Tight or Don’t, Viva la Vida, House of Gold, Famous Last Words etc.

Them singing those songs together. Lit messing up because he slips up and forgets the words. Apollo telling him it’s ok, every attempt can’t be perfect. Them trying again. Lit making up words to replace the ones he can’t remember. It really helps improve his skills on thinking on his feet.

Litpollo Headcanon: Duets

-Apollo goes absolutely feral the first time Lit actually sings along with him

-“You were hiding that amazing voice from me the whole time?! Babe why—?”

-Lit’s an alto. His voice sounds like Red from OSP but more masculine y’know? Overall, very comforting 😔👌

-Apollo’s a soprano, and his voice sounds like a cold, clear mountain water. Soothing and strong

-After Lit finally earns his driver’s license, Apollo lets him take the sun chariot for a joy ride (with close supervision of course. Apollo doesn’t want a repeat of the Thalia incident R.I.P.) and they do car karaoke, just the two of them, the whole world spread out beneath them

-Sometimes they’d take songs and twist them so they fit each other better. For example, take the song Hey There Delilah. The original lyrics: Hey there Delilah/what’s it like in New York City/I’m a thousand miles away but girl tonight/you look so pretty yes you do/Times Square can’t shine as bright as you/I swear it’s true.
