“I’ve been offered a lot for my work, but never this.”
[Prompt]
“I am a generous man, and these are not easy items to find,” he explained, and nodded, encouraging her to take the caps offered.
“Why the hostility? Do you treat every stranger this way?”
[Prompt]
He hadn’t seen her. He hadn’t heard her either. Boyd had been so lost in his own thoughts that the stranger had approached his blindside and successfully caught him off guard. It was as embarrassing as it was infuriating… but he shouldn’t have snapped like that.
“Sorry,” he mumbled, and brushed past the woman, trying to exit the awkward situation as quickly as possible.
“You look like bad news….”
[Prompt]
He felt like bad news. His face was covered in mud and grime, his shirt stained with blood and dirt. He was fairly certain he had a broken nose. Andy let out a sigh and ran his hand over his head.
“Yeah, I feel the part,” he agreed, before he sat down heavily across the woman. “Got any medical supplies you’re willing to sell?”
“Hey hey, no need for that I’d just like to talk.”
[Prompt]
“Shame, I’d prefer to get physical, but go on, what’s it yeh wantin’ teh talk about?”
“I see no one has ever bothered to teach you manners.”
[Prompt]
“Didn’t need manners where I grew up. Don’t need ‘em much ‘round here either.”
“Shit shit, are you okay?!”
[Prompt]
Rori blinked the pain from her head. Or tried, at the very least. The pain wasn’t enough to bring tears to her eyes, but enough for her sight to dim for a split second.
“Fuck,” she hissed, and blinked again, before opening her eyes enough to focus on the stranger. “I think so? I don’t feel like I have a concussion, at least.”
“Are these guys bothering you?”
[Prompt]
“Not for long,” she replied cheerfully, offering the woman a wink and setting her satchel down on the floor next to where she was standing. Before anyone could blink, Rori launched herself at the man closest, fist aimed for his nose.
