Alex Kingston called us an explosion of color and Anthony Mackie was an absolute delight. He complimented us on our costumes, suggested we hold hands, and then went on to say “I’m black. She’s white. I’m black. She’s purple.” Hayley Atwell is such a delightful woman and HOLY SHIT STAN LEE! Totally worth it.

This year was a roller coaster for me. I started treatment for my depression and it took almost the whole year of 4 different meds and two different therapists to do anything for me. I struggled with my self worth and my job and my sexuality and my family and while my family isn't any better I have a new job that I love, my depression is under control, and I know who I am a bit better now. It's a work in progress and I think it'll be a work in progress for a while longer but it's looking up. If it weren't for my closest friends I wouldn't be here to welcome in the New Year and I know I put them through hell but I love them and they are the best people in the world to me. Happy New Year everyone and I hope 2015 is your year.
