Hey ! So I'm in a bit of a writing block, and there's this scene where two of my main characters who have been in a relationship for centuries (they are both gods) and know each other almost by heart at this point, see each other for what they fear may be the last time (they both attempt some kind of desperate suicide mission) and have to part with words of love that are not "direct" and I wondered if you had ideas for ways of expressing love without outright saying "I love you" ?
Hi :)
I actually just got the book Good Omens from my sister for my birthday because I loved the Amazon show so much and this totally reminds me of that.
Ways you could show their love in that scene:
"Please, come back to me as soon as you can."
"Remember what we're fighting for."
"I've seen this face of yours for centuries now and I can't wait to see it for many more."
"If there is a moment where you feel like giving up, just remember that you promised me to come back to me."
"This isn't the end."
Have fun!
