A stranger in his world || Open rp
He'd been scouting the borders of their camp like he always did after the group had settled down for the night. He could easily pick out Bombur's snores or his brother and his so called sleep talking. Keen dwarven eyes scouted the horizon and that's when he saw it. With light and swift steps the young dwarf sought the cover of nearby stone and carefully peeked over the edge. The stranger was much taller then he was and didn't smell like a dwarf, not that that in itself was so surprising. It wasn't like there were many dwarves on the road after all.
Under the cover of night the young dwarf crept closer, one hand reaching for his knife as he slowly closed the distance between him and the stranger.

Alex gasped of air as he looked back up at the balcony he had just jumped from. It was higher than he had ever jumped before, and he had landed a bit harder than expected. He groaned and hoped no one had been watching. Of course, he was never that lucky.
