"Then stop pretending. I don’t know, I heard it works wonders. Listen kid, you’re the only one who’s in control of yourself. Your decisions, not theirs. You’re invincible, not invisible." She said, knowing how it was to be told what to do all the time.
"I never thought I'd regret going to the Academy." muttered Alex, feeling slightly guilty for being so negative towards the school that honestly had been nothing but kind to him. But his anger was blinding him from common sense.
He tilted his head, "You don't go there, where do you go?"

"Maybe I'm just tired of people telling me what to do, looking at me like I'm average, pretending I don't exist. What if I'm tired of pretending to be average?" Alex ranted to the person in front of him, he was just so damn tired of being invisible.

"Can I help you?" asked Alex through a mouthful of food. God, he was starving.

Bavington Preparatory Academy, for only the brightest of supernatural young adults.
What happens when an ancient billionaire decides to make a school for creatures like him. Bavington Prep was established in 1751 by WIlliam Bavington, a some how much too rich fellow who just happened to be a vampire. Still alive to this day, Bavington runs this school for those who need more then just a place to be safe.Â
Supernatural Creatures from around the globe have been invited to Bavington to learn. Learning is only one part of this mysterious school as every school had its secrets, especially when the school is one too. Love, violence, and just a touch of mischief rule the school in ways humans could never imagine. Ancient rivalry brought out in the day and secret love affairs at night. What would you say if you got the chance to join the fun?

"Alex I-I do believe w-we should do something fun...i-it is winter break a-after all."
Alex peered out of his dorm room and raised an eyebrow at the boy. “Like…what exactly?”
"I can make us s-some or we can go get it oooorrr?"
"Let's go get some. Fresh air, right?"
OPEN
"I’d like to get some tea. I don’t mind which flavour though. That’s my kind of addiction." She said chuckling, licking her lips afterwards.
"Uh...okay." Alex said awkwardly, before turning quickly to stand in line. he glanced occasionally at Melanie out of the corner of his eye as he waited.
Natalie watched him on the screen, making sure to tell him when a guard was getting close.  ”Yep you’re good to go.” She replied, keeping an eye on the path to make sure nothing changed.
Alex nodded at her go ahead and bounded silently up the stairs to the sixth floor. He tread out cautiously into the hallway keeping close to the wall. The hall was still empty. He paused outside the correct room and waited for Natalie's okay.

Alex peered out of his dorm room and raised an eyebrow at the boy. “Like…what exactly?”
"Coffes a g-good plan. I n-need some caffine a-after that test."
"You and me both, Cort."
"Well I always need coffee."

"Well, seeing as how I can’t even go into a dark room without glowing like  a Christmas light, yeah my mutation isn’t the trait I love most about myself." Gingebra said, crossing her arms.
"I’d just thought I’d let you know,"
"Well, I suppose I'll discreetly spread the word, if you'd like."
"Are you sure it's safe though? Like, don't we have some gene mutation. What if changing that changes something else...something important."
She drank her cup empty and smiled approvingly at his offer. ''Yes, of course.'' An employee came and cleaned their table as Elizabeth stood up and prepared to leave. When they walked outside she observed her surroundings in awe again. The 21th century was really beautiful.
She looked at the vehicles parked against the roads, and elbowed you gently in your side ''What are those called?''Â
"Cars." said Alex. "The carriage of the 21st century." He stuffed his hands into his pockets and shuffled along side Eliza. He noticed her looking around, "It looks beautiful but we're killing everything simultaneously."
Alex guided them slowly to Central Park where the trees were mostly bare. "Ever have roasted chestnuts?" He asked her as they pasted one of the many sweet smelling venders selling them.
Melanie smiled softly, nodding. “Oh, I will.” She nodded another few times, then walked up towards the cafe. “So, you’re a coffee-guy.” Melanie sat down onto one of the chair, and ran her hand through her hair. “And you’re keeping secrets already, mr. Mysterious.”
"Am I really? Well I'd like to see you try." commented Alex, raising an eyebrow. "Bit of an addition." he admitted. "I don't function well when I'm tired. I'm going to go get some now," he said with a smile. "Can I get you anything?"
She doubtfully looked down onto her stomach and thighs. Her maids and mother never stuffed her with unhealthy food, in fact, they only served vegetables back home.
"I really don't know, to be honest. I couldn't sleep because of a loud thunder, and went to my balcony. But then a bright lightening appeared in the sky, and I got here in the process, perhaps."
She took the last bite of her doughnut, and couldn't resist licking some of the glaze off her fingers. "But I think I will 'delay' my return, after seeing all the sweet goodness."
Alex nodded, her explanation made sense...now to get her back, he honestly had no idea. "Oh don't worry, it's a long process to become unhealthy." He said noticing her looking down.
He swallowed his last bit of sandwich. "Well before you go back, we could at least get you to see the sights. Wanna go somewhere else? Plenty of sweet shops on the way."
"Now I’m getting curious…" She almost whispered. Melanie was though. She was a pretty curious girl overall, but besides that she also loved to just find it out herself.
"Other things like what?" Melanie cocked her head, gazing his way as she waited for his reply.Â
Alex didn't respond for a long moment. Then he smiled at her slightly, "I suppose you'll just have to figure that out yourself."
As much as he liked her, he wasn't ready to tell her.
She nodded her head excited and took another sip of her drink. She looked at the round, glazed, dough, you shove towards her, and hesitated a moment before she picked it up and took a bite of it.
Delicious.
She moaned of delight as she looked at you with wide eyes "I cannot believe it! You people literally have food as delicious as this?!"
Alex laughed. "All that and more. It's basically the staple in everyone's diet nowadays, of course it doesn't do wonders for our health. But no one seems to care about that anyways." He was rambling again, so he stopped the flow of words with another gulp of coffee.
"So, Eliza. Do you have any idea how you jumped into this century?"
