SI Aesthetics (SI Positivity Day May 2019)

Another question in the frying pan now (a continuation to this one here)

For some of us, aesthetic is key. Do you have a theme or an aesthetic for your self insert content (Please do not include ships/FOs!)?

For Mari, I always associate her with books & libraries (since she works as an assistant librarian and loves to read and write), glasses (because she is near-sighted as hell), roses, tea, and, weirdly but fitting to the world she lives in, shattered glass. The latter one is important to note because it is symbolic of defying fate (canonical or what if) among canon characters in her world and how fragile Mari’s mindset can be due to her growing up socially awkward and looked down upon by her peers in high school.

I also associate her with reds, blues, silver, and white: Red for passion, blue for serenity and creativity, silver for wisdom and looking forward, and white for purity.

When your S/I face claim is frontline and center in a photoshoot and you choose to ignore everyone else in her Model UN band:

And you deliberatly pretend that one guy from ABS-CBN and Pinoy Big Brother, the Chinese dude, and Korean chick who could have been said SI’s FC with the hair she has are even there. The all 13 (soon to be 15) are dead to you. Best decision in FC picking ever.
