Life is a gift

God did not create us to suffer in this world. As far as this is true, we are also not made to live a sinful and ungrateful life. We are called to win this race only by living a righteous life. Every human in this world will have their own battles. Everyone will have their own way of dealing the challenges in their life . Some people are strong and will be able to handle anything. Some people are not that strong and at a certain point they will get tired of the challenges and decide to end the challenge. Even the strongest people will get tired of their challenges . The biggest Storm whirl around them and seeing that they decide they cannot handle it. At that point, no one will think about the one life God has given them. Because the only bigger thing in their life was that storm and not the God who created them. The one who gave the life knows how to deal with the challenges.

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness

will find life, righteousness, and honor. - Proverbs 21:21

No matter how big situations or challenges you face, remember that God is greater than anything you face. He will get you out from that situation if you really ask His help and believe in Him. Do not let the bad thoughts to take control over your life. Your life can be messy , worthless or pathetic but God has created you for a purpose. He will change your life beautiful if you let God in your life . To live in this cruel world, we definitely need God to guide us and keep us safe.

I heard people say, 'Its just one life and we should enjoy the most . We should live our life as we wish'. But they still choose to live a wrong life by destroying themselves. No person who says I will live my life as I wish , lived a honest or righteous life. If you were given with a job or a position, people know that you are best or perfect only by how honestly and sincerely you do that job. When you are given with a "Life" , you must live a righteous life in order to prove that you are given with the best gift. God wants you to be THE BEST.

For “Whoever desires to love life

and see good days,

let him keep his tongue from evil

and his lips from speaking deceit;

let him turn away from evil and do good;

let him seek peace and pursue it.” 1 Peter 3 : 10,11

I only have a few minutes left before my first day of being 25 ends. I didn't sulk pre-25! I am actually crying at 25 because i am just so happy! I must say that this birthday is definitely one of the best. I’m sure 25 is going to be a great number to live for.

- I still have the best boyfriend ever. - I’ve reconnected with the bestfriend whom I’ve regretted losing. - I have a job. It has shitty pay, but i still have a job. - I am still alive and well.

I dont need a cake nor many gifts. I would be extremely satisfied that 25 started extremely well. I’m ready to become more mature. I’m ready to love some more and also love myself even more. I’m ready for a new chapter.

Thank you, world, for being so good to me. I’d like to live another year filled with happiness and love and of course, with my loved ones with me still.

Day 175 - Shake Things Up!

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. - Romans 13:11-14

The passage of scripture provides a warning to prepare ourselves for the return of Christ. Those who were indifferent in their actions, not truly living the life Christ had called them to live, were asked to shake things up. They were asked to wake up from sinful slumber and take to action to live righteously. Paul recognized that a number of the saints had somehow lost sight of their purpose and role in the kingdom of God. They had resorted to a sinful lifestyle giving into the desires of the flesh. Their light had gone dim and the dark deeds of the flesh became evident in their actions.

This is the problem the Christians of the past faced and it is one that we also face today. We have been told whether by tele-evangelists or from our own pulpit at church that Christ's return draws nigh. The initial passion and desire for Christ has now somewhat dwindled into a little flame. The sinful acts we were once freed from, we now find ourselves once again chained to, imprisoned yet not seeking freedom. The light we once had no longer shines bright to draw men unto God. Rather it kept hidden out of shame for the things of God that should truly define us. Paul asks us to shake things up! To wake up from sinful slumber and to live righteously. Paul asks us to put aside the deeds of darkness and to put on the armour of light. Now is not the time for us to be second guessing. Despite the repetitive message of Christ's hastening return, let us truly live for God. Let us put on the garments of Christ and walk holy according to His will because this is our duty as people of God. It is time for Christians to start living!
