Teen Surfers Rescue Two Swept Out by Rip in California Beach
Life Savers Candy Co, 1956
I don't know which is weirder, the fact that I just accept seeing glowing entities moving in my peripheral vision, or the fact that this time it was actually a white live saver candy that spawned out of the ether.
shout out to the people who put the times of jumpscares in the comments of a scary youtube video
I just want to take a second to thank whoever invented cough drops
Me: *swimming in the pool*

Double Agents and Life Savers
There's some tricks for making the most out of your make-up bag. None of them are new, but they aren't well known and have gotten me some pretty weird looks from make-up snobs. Despite the fact that these ideas have been around for years.
Double-duty - Cut down on what you need for a night out.
Lipstick I've found that I love the colors of lipstick more than blushes. I ADORE matte cheek colors, but for some reason or another, I can't find that many good colors of blush that are matte. So, grab a lipstick, dab it along your cheek bone and blend it in! If I have a bit more time or need it a bit lighter, I swipe a bit on the back of my hand to warm it up and then use my middle and ring finger to blend it along my cheek bones. This trick is as old as time, but it's still incredibly handy. Especially since a tube of lipstick is easier to slip in a clutch and travel around with than a powder compact.
Blotting Papers This one is super simple. Blot away excess oil and blot your lipstick. Lint free and cuts down on what you have to carry around.
Eye Shadow Light, shimmery color dabbed in the inner corner of the eye to open them up and dabbed along the high points (nose bridge, top of cheek bones) of the face to create a lovely glow! Super simple and super effective.
Life savers - Little things that will rescue you in a make-up crisis.
Cornstarch This is the odd ball. Run out of setting powder? Cornstarch! Greasy hair? Cooooornstaaaarch!
Toilet Seat Covers Okay, maybe most of these are oddballs. No blotting papers? Grab a toilet seat cover, preferably not the one on the outside, and blot away!
Make-up Primer Not just to keep your make-up in place. If you smudged your make up or blended it out too much and don't have time to deal with make up remover and the clean up of said make up remover and trying to cover it up is a complete nightmare. Cotton swab and make-up primer. Buff any missing foundation with what's left on your foundation brush or blend fingers.
Just a few little things to make long days and waking up late a bit easier. If I'm going out and don't want to carry my full purse, I grab a wristlet clutch and pop in a tube of lip stick, blotting papers, sani nap/tampon (even if you don't need it, someone will, someone always does), ID, debit card, gum, bit of cash and band-aids. This all fits perfectly inside a standard clutch for me and is all I need and even if I don't end up needing it, I can guarantee some one else will and you will be a savior. My mother has taught me well.
